Privacy statement

Prisma BV values your privacy. In this statement you can read which personal data we process, for what purposes, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy legislation.

1. Who is responsible?

2. What data do we process?

Depending on your contact with us, we process:

• Identification and contact details: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address.
• Customer and order data: services requested, pickup and delivery appointments, history and billing details.
• Data from our forms: the information you enter in the quote form or when you ask to be notified about a pickup zone.
• Technical data: limited technical information (such as your IP address) when you visit our website.

We never ask for more data than is necessary for the service you request.

3. For what purposes and on what basis?

We process your data for:

• The performance of our services: taking and following up orders, pickup and delivery, and invoicing (performance of the contract).
• Legal obligations: including in the area of accounting and taxation.
• Customer management and communication: answering your questions and keeping you informed (legitimate interest).
• Notifications you sign up for: for example when we start serving a new pickup zone (on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

4. How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned above. Customer and order data is kept for the duration of the customer relationship; billing and accounting data is kept for as long as the law requires (in Belgium, generally seven years). Data you left only for a notification is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed or when you unsubscribe.

5. With whom do we share your data?

We never sell your data. We do, however, rely on a few service providers (processors) that help us run our services and website, and that act solely on our behalf:

• Web3Forms — processes the submissions of our web forms so that they reach us by e-mail.
• Vercel — our hosting partner, keeps the website technically available.
• Accounting and IT service providers — as part of our normal business operations.

Otherwise, we only share data when we are legally required to do so. The fonts on our website are loaded locally (self-hosted): no data is sent to third parties such as Google for that purpose.

6. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The fonts are loaded locally, so no data is shared with third parties for that purpose. If we add measurement or other cookies later, we will update this statement and, where necessary, ask for your consent.

7. Transfer outside the EU

Some of our service providers (such as Google and our hosting partner) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, together with those parties, we ensure the appropriate legal safeguards (such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, as well as the right to object to certain processing. If we processed your data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You exercise these rights via info@wasserijprisma.be. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. The most recent version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
